It may not be commonly known that the first cervical vertebra C1 - the Atlas- is completely rotated to the left in most humans. This circumstance leads to a variety of physical and psychological ailments and illnesses, which can definitely be corrected. Symptomatic ailments and illnesses may include neck pain and stiffness, back pain, lumbago, herniated disk, scoliosis, jammed spinal nerves, scoliotic pelvis, pain in the jaw, arms, hips, knees, difference in leg length, etc. This treatment to improve these disorders was discovered and developed by a Swiss Doctor, Rene-Claudius Schuemperli, who himself was painfully affected by a rotated Atlas, with deterioration of his spine. This lead him into researching facts about the spine and between 1993 and 1996 he developed a revolutionary method which returns the C1 or Atlas  back into its correct position. This leads to the spine been correctly joined to the scull and helps to correctly realign the spine. The method is non medical and non-chiropractic. It employs no manipulative movements to the head or neck so there is no risk of any damage to the body.
